Jaafar Jackson Wore Saint Laurent To The ‘Michael’ LA Premiere

Jaafar Jackson, the man of the moment, joined his cast mates, Colman Domingo, Nia Long and Laura Harrier on the black carpet for the premiere of the film in which he stars as the lead in Michael.

The actor wore a Saint Laurent tuxedo, styled shirtless and free of embellishment, save for his Legacy Vintage diamond spray brooch – a cascade of pavé-set rounds and marquise-cut stones.

No white socks, no direct references to the eras that defined Michael’s decades-spanning career, and no rhinestone embellished loafers. The story has already been told through the press tour, and this reads as a closing note ahead of the April 24 release.

This look was pared back and confident, with nothing left to add, just the final image before the spotlight shifts to the film itself, as Jaafar Jackson steps forward on his own terms, not in imitation but as his own man.
