Sarah Pidgeon attended the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday evening.
We know from her press tour for Love Story that the actress is a Chanel ambassador, yet it shouldn’t come as a surprise that she wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection look for this occasion.
The choice feels especially fitting considering Sarah’s portrays Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy on screen, who famously worked as a publicist at Calvin Klein before becoming a style icon of the 1990s. The connection between actress, role, and designer makes the pairing feel particularly considered.
The platinum crystal and sequin-encrusted floor-length gown featured micro spaghetti straps, a detail long associated with Calvin Klein, along with front overlap draping and a softly deconstructed neckline that added subtle texture to the otherwise streamlined design. The shimmering finish ensured the gown still delivered the level of glamour expected for the Vanity Fair party, while maintaining the brand’s clean aesthetic.
That said, from certain angles the silhouette appeared a little too column-like, reading slightly straight up and down. A touch more shaping at the waist might have refined the proportions, though I will admit I am firmly in the camp that will always prefer a defined waistline.
