Ryan Destiny Wore AMI Paris To The 2026 Oscars

Ryan Destiny is an actress whose style I have followed for some time, so I was excited to see her have a moment on the world stage at the Oscars.

However, I am just going to be honest and say that she really hasn’t had a true moment since she stopped working with Scot Louie, and that was confirmed once again when she stepped onto this red carpet in a custom AMI Paris look.

I understand the vision, as it feels very Uma Thurman or Sharon Stone-coded, but Ryan is an up-and-coming actress, and this reads too old, too bland, too heavy, and simply not the moment I want for her.

Why put her in a heavy black velvet skirt? Just why?

I know many of you have favourite stylists, but I think Ryan needs a rethink. This isn’t it, and it hasn’t really worked for me for some time. It has been one ok look after another, but this is the Oscars where you have to raise your game.

All this does is reinforce a theory I have held for a long time, and that is that Zendaya is the focus and the priority.
