Viola Davis Wore Sandro On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Viola Davis made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, where she spoke about her viral reaction to Michael B. Jordan winning Best Actor at the Actor Awards, her hilarious response to seeing her Oscar-inspired wax figure at Madame Tussauds, and co-writing the novel Judge Stone with James Patterson.
For the occasion, the EGOT winner wore a Sandro rhinestone tweed top and matching trousers.
The look delivered just the right amount of sparkle for a late-night appearance. The cropped top with its crisp white collar gave the ensemble a playful, almost school-uniform twist, while the scattered rhinestones ensured the black tweed never felt flat under the studio lights.
If there was one minor quibble, it was the trousers. They ran a touch too long, pooling slightly over her shoes.
That said, the overall effect still worked beautifully. Viola has a natural ease on talk shows, and the subtle shimmer of this Sandro set complemented her presence perfectly. We love a dazzling Viola.
