Kerry Washington Wore Georges Hobeika To The 2026 NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors

Before the main awards, which take place on Saturday, the 2026 NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors were held in LA, with Kerry Washington in attendance.

The actress wore a Georges Hobeika Fall 2025 pearl detailed dress.

I am really hoping for a knockout moment from Kerry tomorrow, because her red carpet style does not excite me as much as it used to.

She is on the red carpet often, but there is no rhythm to her looks, no spark, just a string of disconnected choices.

That is not to say she does not look good in this dress. She does, even though the horizontal pearl band at the hem interrupts the long column effect. Still, when I see her in a look like this, I cannot help thinking she is capable of so much more, and I’m not saying that I need drama or an extreme silhouettes to get there.

Kerry’s 2013 NAACP Image Awards Oscar de la Renta look still sits at the top of her Hall of Fame. If she can recapture even a hint of that tomorrow, I will be excited.
