Kirsten Dunst Wore Valentino Haute Couture To The 2026 BAFTAs

Kirsten Dunst joined her husband, Jesse Plemons, who was nominated at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards held at The Royal Festival Hall in London this evening.

The actress continued her run in Valentino. She has worn so much Valentino this year, and last year, that I’m surprised the partnership hasn’t been formalised by now.

However, I’m not entirely sold on this Valentino Fall 2026 Haute Couture look, and it’s the blouse that undermines it for me. I love how the mutton sleeves are amplified by the moiré fabric, with their sculptural volume giving the jacket real presence.

The blouse looks a little flimsy and doesn’t feel as though it belongs within this look, disrupting the strength of the silhouette.

I would have preferred the jacket closed, making this essentially a two-piece look and allowing those sculpted sleeves to take full focus. That edit would have made the statement cleaner for me.
