Charli XCX Wore August Barron To ‘The Moment’ London Premiere

There was a mixed reaction to Charli XCX’s looks during the Berlin Film Festival, with most of you favouring the photocall look over the premiere.

For last night’s London premiere of The Moment, she scaled back the gothic drama and red carpet gloss, leaning into something that felt more instinctive. More recognisably Charli.

Her August Barron Spring 2026 black twisted leather jacket, worn as an ultra mini dress from the label’s Real Housewife collection, sits squarely in her comfort zone of hyperpop futurism with a heavy dose of punk rebellion that feels rooted in the underground scene she came from.

The black, unzipped thigh high boots only heighten the defiant edge.

Of the three looks she delivered this week, this is the one that feels most aligned with her. That said, I am not convinced it would have resonated in Berlin in the same way, so credit where it is due for selecting the right look for the right environment.
