Zazie Beetz Wore Maximilian Raynor To The ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere
Zazie Beetz is at the Berlin Film Festival to promote her new film, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, choosing to wear the same look for both the photocall and the premiere.

Maximilian Raynor is known for theatrical, narrative-led fashion shaped by London’s experimental energy, and this Spring 2026 ensemble leans fully into that sensibility. The eclectic print, layered construction and sculptural tailoring reflect his focus on upcycled fabrics and character-driven silhouettes that feel closer to costume than conventional eveningwear.
It’s unapologetically bold and unmistakably Zazie. I love that she attempts to make it her own by folding over the shoulders, though that adjustment feels more practical than stylistic, given how dramatically long the sleeves are.
I want to give her kudos for staying true to her offbeat style. There was a period where that instinct felt dialled down, so it is refreshing to see her lean back into it. That said, the proportions are where this falters for me. The skirt’s exaggerated volume and extended sleeves overwhelm her frame completely.
This is likely a one-of-a-kind sample, so there was no tailoring and no smaller size to better suit her proportions. For commitment alone, she earns points, but the overall it’s not really doing her any favours.
Jimmy Choo Izia pumps completed her look. Some might find them conventional for such an avant garde outfit, yet the gold floral embellishment dials into the drama above.
