Keke Palmer Wore Gucci To ‘The Burbs’ LA Premiere
Keke Palmer was back on the red carpet for the premiere of Peacock’s The Burbs, held at Universal Studios Backlot in Universal City on Thursday.
I know what you’re thinking: that’s a lot of GGs. And yes, the Gucci GG monogram running across every single piece of this look is excessive.
You didn’t love this logomania on Dua Lipa or Gwyneth Paltrow. But for me, Keke has the personality to wear this kind of maximalism without blinking.
We’re used to seeing the actress in archival moments, but there’s something distinctly nostalgic about this look. It leans heavily into a Mary J. Blige, Dapper Dan-era New York energy from the ’90s, where logos were worn loudly, proudly, and with absolute conviction.
I know some of you will hate it, but I love this on Keke. It suits her confidence, her humour, and her willingness to go all in rather than play it safe.
