Lily Collins’ Bordeaux Beauty Moment with Thrive Causemetics at the ‘Emily in Paris’ Premiere

For the Emily in Paris Season 5 premiere, Lily Collins once again proved that her beauty looks are as carefully considered as her red carpet fashion. Working with celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles, Lily wore a full face of Thrive Causemetics, resulting in a look that balanced refinement with quiet impact.

The Inspiration

“For the makeup I wanted to keep the look polished with a soft, subtle approach with fresh features paired with a deep bordeaux lip,” Fiona shared. “Her eyes were softly defined, framed by voluminous lashes.”

That contrast — clean skin and softly sculpted eyes against a rich lip — felt perfectly aligned with Lily’s modern Parisian beauty identity.

The Complexion

After skincare, Fiona used the Brilliant Face Brightener to add a soft glow, followed by Buildable Blur CC Cream, applied with a sponge for an even finish. Buildable Blur HD Creaseless Concealer was used where needed, with Brilliant Eye Brightener under the eyes for added brightness.

Warmth and shape came from the Color Stick in Jan around the hairline, while Color Stick in Mieko highlighted the high points of the face. A peachy flush was added with Color Stick in Kaisa, before setting everything with Filtered Effects Translucent Matte Setting Powder.

Brows & Eyes

“Lily has iconic brows, and I don’t have to do much to them.” Fiona noted, filling sparse areas with the Instant Brow Fix Pencil in Serena and setting them with Liquid Brow Lamination.

For the eyes, lids were prepped with Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer, then softly defined using Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner in Lauren and Hoda. The eye was sculpted with Brilliant Eye Brightener shades: Mieko on the lid, Callie through the crease, and Estrella at the inner corners. Lashes were finished with Liquid Lash Mascara in Brynn for length and volume.

The Lips

The look was anchored by a custom bordeaux lip, created by blending Empower Matte Lipstick Crayon in Rosa with Empower Matte Lipstick in Brandy, delivering a deep, elegant finish that elevated the entire look.
