‘Emily In Paris’ Netflix Venice Press Event
Following the Venice photocall, the ladies of Emily In Paris regrouped for a Netflix press event on Friday, and naturally, fashion took centre stage. While this wasn’t a red carpet in the traditional sense, it still offered plenty to unpack—particularly in how each woman stayed true to her style lane while loosely circling a shared theme. Sheer fabrics, texture, and attitude dominated, but the execution varied in ways that felt very on-brand for each of them.

Forever Chic, Always
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu will always read as chic to me, and this Elie Saab Spring 2026 look does nothing to challenge that belief. The sheer top, worn with a visible polka-dot bra, could have tipped into try-hard territory, but on Philippine it feels relaxed. It feels assured. She’s not being deliberately provocative, and the look is completely aligned with her screen persona.

Sheer, Fully Committed
Lily Collins leaned into the sheer direction as well, choosing an Alessandra Rich Spring 2026 lace dress. Unlike Philippine’s softer approach, Lily’s look is more overt, leaving very little room for subtlety, though the wrap detail at the hips slightly reins it in. It’s a bold choice for a press event, placing her firmly at the sharper end of the group’s style spectrum—as the lead, she stands out here.

Never Minimal, Ever Ashley
I know many won’t love Ashley Park’s LaPointe Spring 2026 suit, but subtlety has never been her calling card. With feathers, embellishment, and sheer trousers, this ensemble still feels surprisingly restrained by her standards. That’s what makes it interesting. The tailored blazer grounds the look, while the detailing injects personality. Ashley doesn’t dilute her style for press events, and I respect that consistency.
