Jessie Buckley Wore Chanel To The ‘Hamnet’ Paris Photocall

Jessie Buckley continued the Hamnet press tour in Paris this week, following her Berlin premiere appearance.

Chanel is quickly becoming Jessie’s label of choice. This time she selected a look from the Pre-Fall 2026 collection — and while it sits firmly within her new understated lane, it carries more personality than anything we’ve seen from her recently.

The base of the outfit is simple: a black knit and wide-leg trousers. But the moment you add that red cashmere scarf wrapped asymmetrically across the waist, the whole look shifts, introduces the contrast this look needed, giving the silhouette definition and just enough visual lift to keep it from fading into the background.

This could have easily defaulted to a head-to-toe black look, so I’m also going to take a moment to appreciate the Chanel dual-colour shoes, which inject a jolt of sharpness.

Even the jewellery — a chunky Chanel bracelet and earrings — adds a welcome sense of detail. For an actress who has leaned a little too far into a stripped-back aesthetic, these small choices bring some intrigue while staying true to her new look.
