Celebrities at the ‘Oh. What. Fun.’ New York Premiere
The New York premiere of Oh. What. Fun. took place last night, bringing together a cast who you would expect to embraced a “holiday fashion” brief, but only one did.

The Oversized Blueprint
If anyone is searching for a masterclass in wearing oversized tailoring without looking swallowed by it, Michelle Pfeiffer arrived with the answer. Her Saint Laurent suit was crisp, relaxed, and effortlessly cool — the kind of look that feels stylish rather than try-hard. Consider this Exhibit A for how slouchy proportions should be done.

Velvet, But Make It Lively
Chloë Grace Moretz continued her Louis Vuitton streak in a yellow-and-black velvet mini dress featuring pleated, sculptural shoulders that gave the look its attitude. The black satin Gala pumps and LV Diamonds jewellery sharpened the finish.

Tulle Goes Maximalist
Gwen Stefani turned up in a Vera Wang Spring 2024 tulle corset gown that felt somewhat extra for this particular premiere — dramatic, yes, but it landed closer to gothic-bridal-fantasy than festive red carpet. There is just too much volume that she’s lost in tulle.

Oh Well
Then we arrive at Felicity Jones in Prada. The second I finish typing, I’d quite like to borrow the Men in Black Neuralyzer and forget this ever happened. The silhouette is fine, but the fabric and its folds, stitched-down chaos are baffling. It feels so unfinished.

The One On Theme
And finally, Dominic Sessa showed up in a Polo Ralph Lauren red plaid cardigan, black trousers, and a tie — the sartorial equivalent of settling in by the fire. It’s perfectly on-theme, and all he needed was a pipe and slippers.
