Zoey Deutch Wore Chanel To Netflix’s The Lineup: Live From The Egyptian
Zoey Deutch attended Netflix’s The Lineup: Live From The Egyptian in Los Angeles, where her film Nouvelle Vague was presented.

From the very start of this press tour, Zoey has been charming us with looks that lean vintage (her Thom Browne gown for the Governor Awards is a perfect example) or outright are vintage (this look), and what makes this approach so refreshing is how natural it feels on her. Nothing reads like “playing dress-up,” and there’s never that awkward sense of someone wearing archival fashion for the sake of it. Instead, there’s an ease — as though these pieces have simply been waiting for her.
For this occasion, she wore a 1995 Chanel corset gown, the kind of look that reminds you why black-and-white Chanel will forever hold its timelessness. It’s classic, unfussy Chanel — graphic, feminine, and beautifully balanced.
At Cannes Film Festival, Zoey leaned heavily into bygone-era glamour with sculpted hair and soft retro references, and that worked perfectly in the context of the Croisette. Here, she smartly dialled it back: loose, glossy hair, understated styling, and a more modern beauty approach let the dress speak without locking her into a specific period. It feels like she’s figured out how to balance the nostalgia in ways that keep her press-tour identity intact without repeating a formula.
