Ginnifer Goodwin Wore Wiederhoeft & Bibhu Mohapatra For ‘Zootopia 2’ LA & Shanghai Premieres
Ginnifer Goodwin delivered two red carpet moments for the Zootopia 2 premieres — one in LA, one in Shanghai — and the contrast between them couldn’t be more fascinating.

I know what you’re thinking: this Wiederhoeft Spring 2025 off-the-shoulder draped neckline corseted gown isn’t giving “Disney premiere” or “family-friendly animated film.” And honestly? That’s exactly why I adore it. Ginnifer has such a recognisable aesthetic — soft, sweet, slightly nostalgic — that seeing her in something bolder, sharper, and more editorial immediately grabbed my attention. The matching gloves, the sculpted neckline, the glimmer across the embroidery… it all leans into high-fashion theatricality in a way she rarely explores.
It’s unexpected, yes. But it’s also a reminder that Ginnifer’s style palette is wider than people give her credit for. There’s a curiosity to this look, a willingness to step into something more directional, and I’m very here for this shift.

Shanghai Premiere
Now this Bibhu Mohapatra dress is a quintessential Ginnifer Goodwin moment. The clean column cut, the saturated green, the delicate botanical sequin embroidery curling up the skirt, and the soft sculptural shoulder detail all nod to the romantic, slightly whimsical undercurrent that has defined so much of her red carpet journey over the years. It’s elegant without being safe, ornate without feeling OTT, and it flatters her petite frame beautifully.

This is the version of Ginnifer that longtime fans know and love: refined, charming, and beautifully styled in a way that complements her. It’s modern fairytale dressing — which, if we’re honest, is where she shines brightest, even if I’m not on board with the style or colour of her Jimmy Choos.
