Olivia Dean Wore Richard Quinn To The 2025 ARIA Awards

Olivia Dean attended the 2025 ARIA Awards today in Sydney, and while some of her peers took a far more experimental route on this red carpet, she chose the opposite approach — and it paid off.

Ella Balinska embraced a moto-edge, Kacey Musgraves wandered into lingerie-adjacent whimsy, and then Olivia arrived in a Richard Quinn Spring 2026 gown that felt like a palate cleanser: elegant, structured, and rooted in a softer kind of spectacle.

The first thing that comes to mind is early-2000s Chanel under Karl Lagerfeld. It’s impossible not to think of those archival looks when you see that oversized camellia sitting at the centre of the bodice. Richard Quinn clearly knows the reference he’s playing with.

On the runway, the gown featured a halter neckline and opera gloves, leaning into Quinn’s signature high society drama. Olivia’s team made two very smart decisions: removing the halter and ditching the gloves. Those adjustments stripped the look back just enough to let her personality lead rather than the styling. Suddenly the dress feels softer, fresher, and more in tune with Olivia’s understated charm, with the voluminous skirt still giving the moment scale.

In a night full of extremes, Olivia found the sweet spot.
