Ariana Grande Wore Givenchy Haute Couture by Alexander McQueen To The ‘Wicked: For Good’ Paris Premiere
Following the photocall earlier in the day, Ariana Grande had an even more magical fashion chapter waiting for the Wicked: For Good Paris premiere — one pulled straight from couture history.

She wore a Givenchy Spring 1998 Haute Couture pleated grey-to-pink dégradé organza gown with pastel floral embroidery, designed by Alexander McQueen during his tenure at the house for his Japanese Garden collection.
This is the type of look where you want to see it in motion, in candlelight, on marble staircases — all of which Palais Garnier happily provided. The gown feels on-theme for Glinda, yes, but not in the obvious, sugary way that some of her first Wicked press tour looks leaned into. There’s a maturity to this. A softness that doesn’t read fragile. A fairytale that doesn’t feel like a costume.

I keep wondering if I’m going to end up saying “this is her best look of the press run” after every premiere — and honestly, I hope I do.

There’s still the M&S — magic and sparkle — but not in the literal rhinestone-studded interpretation. It’s the idea of enchantment, carried through ombré pleats, delicate embroidery and a silhouette that floats. What more could you ask for? It’s considered, thoughtful, and rooted in a deeper sense of Glinda.
