Alexander Skarsgård Wore Celine To The ‘Pillion’ New York Film Festival Premiere
It’s official: Alexander Skarsgård is having the most unexpected — and frankly, the most enjoyable — style era of his career.

Attending the Pillion red carpet during the 63rd New York Film Festival, the actor wore a Celine look that perfectly captured his newfound sense of fashion freedom. The cropped black leather jacket, plaid shirt, cuffed denim, and glossy Celine loafers with white socks instantly evoke a 1950s greaser aesthetic — think James Dean if he’d just stepped out of Saint-Germain instead of Hollywood.
What’s refreshing here is how much fun Alexander clearly has with fashion these days. Ever since he began working with stylist Harry Lambert, we’ve seen a whole new side to him — one that’s playful, experimental, and genuinely invested in pushing boundaries. Gone are the predictable suits and safe silhouettes; this new partnership is rewriting what “leading man style” can look like.
I love this because it strikes the perfect balance between irony and intention. The look winks at nostalgia yet feels completely current, yet it’s a fashion moment that says confidence without taking itself too seriously.
This is Alexander’s new normal, and I’m fully on board.
Stylist: Harry Lambert.
