Julia Roberts Wore Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood To The ‘After The Hunt’ New York Film Festival Premiere
Julia Roberts joined her co-star Ayo Edebiri on the red carpet for the After The Hunt New York Film Festival premiere on Friday, leaning into her long-standing love of tailored suits.

Her Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Fall 2025 wide-leg suit felt like a natural extension of that style instinct.
There’s plenty to admire here. The all-over motif gave the suit a playful twist. The tie—pinned with vintage brooches—was a particularly brilliant touch, bringing in Westwood’s irreverent spirit and giving Julia’s look a layer of wit. And as always, I love that she chose a suit rather than a gown, because Julia never follows the expected path.
But I’ll be honest: one small styling choice held this back. The buttoned blazer closed off the look when it should have been left undone. Imagine the tie revealed in full, one hand casually in a pocket, letting the exaggerated proportions flow—suddenly it’s statuesque. Instead, the single button lent a touch of frump to an otherwise great ensemble.
That said, even when the details aren’t perfect, Julia’s commitment to her own brand of tailoring always makes her stand out.
Sabyasachi aquamarine and diamond drop earrings completed her look.
Stylist: Elizabeth Stewart.
