McQueen at ‘The House of Guinness’ London Premiere
The House of Guinness premiered in London this week, with the stars of Steven Knight’s new historical drama stepping onto the carpet in McQueen. Set in the aftermath of Sir Benjamin Guinness’s death in 1868, the show follows the siblings left behind to battle over legacy and loyalty—a Victorian setting that found its perfect echo in these McQueen choices.

Ethereal Resolve
Emily Fairn, who plays Anne Guinness, floated in an ivory silk chiffon McQueen Resort 2026 gown adorned with delicate poppy prints. The crystal neckline added a subtle shimmer, giving the dress a darkly romantic edge. What struck me was how it felt light, poetic, and still fitting for autumn.

Victorian Sensibility
Fionn O’Shea’s McQueen look had a distinctly Victorian spirit, perfectly echoing the film’s period setting. The lace collar and cuffs brought a flourish of 19th-century romance, while the cropped jacket and high-waist trousers leaned into the sharp formality of the era. It struck me as a clever blend of structure and softness—masculine tailoring edged with quiet sensitivity.

Gothic Authority
Danielle Galligan delivered gothic power in a sculpted black McQueen Fall 2025 overcoat. Lace, tulle, and organza softened the severity, while the silver McQueen pins—an arrow and anchor— hinted at rebellion. Crimson lace boots added just the right hit of intensity.
Together, the trio reflected McQueen’s ability to take history and twist it into something modern yet true to its roots.
