‘Jay Kelly’ Venice Film Festival Photocall Red Carpet Roundup
It wasn’t all florals at the Jay Kelly photocall during the Venice Film Festival, with Alba Rohrwacher, Laura Dern, and Riley Keough each delivering a completely different take on daytime photocall dressing.

Dior Done the Alba Way
Alba Rohrwacher gave us a taste of Jonathan Anderson’s debut collection for Dior. If you remember the Dior Men’s Spring 2026 show, Natalia Vodianova and Mia Goth both wore Dior looks with that reverse collar and pleating. On them, I wasn’t convinced. On Alba, however, it works. The colour feels richer, the blend of feminine softness and masculine tailoring was perfectly suited to her, and the whole thing has that laid-back intellectual edge she always brings to the red carpet. Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams earrings in yellow gold with diamonds completed her look.

From Summer to Autumn Overnight
Laura Dern switched seasons almost too quickly, moving from Emilia Wickstead florals yesterday to a Saint Laurent paisley print today. I’m not opposed the autumnal hues, but this one feels a touch heavy, especially for a photocall. Yes, it did rain just before this event, but even so, the mood reads more October in Paris than August on the Lido, especially when styled with those Santoni dark brown suede boots.

rerun Chanel
Riley Keough opted for a Chanel black satin jacket that we’ve already spotted on Lily Allen back in June at the Chanel Tribeca Artists Dinner. Riley hasn’t quite landed that big Chanel moment yet. Fingers crossed her premiere look gives us something truly memorable.
