Gong Jun Wore Louis Vuitton To The W China Annual Gala 2025
It wasn’t only dazzling gowns turning heads at the W China Annual Gala this week — Gong Jun also made a striking appearance on the red carpet.

As we know, the Chinese actor is now a Louis Vuitton ambassador — and while brand appointments can signal the beginning of the end of any real style creativity, he’s proving to be the exception, as he looked as dapper and suave as ever in a look pulled straight from the Louis Vuitton Fall 2025 menswear collection.

The ensemble played with heritage codes: a brown Prince of Wales check collarless jacket paired with a damier tie, all grounded by a crisp white shirt and sleek black trousers. The addition of brown suspenders gave the outfit a subtle old-world charm, a detail that elevated the tailoring into something far more considered.

Personally, I would have leaned into the brown story with solid trousers to match — it would have tied the look together seamlessly, especially with the suspenders. Black and brown don’t usually make the most harmonious pairing for me. Yet, whether it’s the way the trousers disappear into the step-and-repeat backdrop, or simply Gong Jun’s innate charm and style prowess, it somehow works. Against the odds, this is convincing, making this is another win for his ever-growing style file.
