Keke Palmer was honoured with the Spirit Award at the 5th Annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards in Beverly Hills, celebrating her ongoing influence in both entertainment and social activism. And naturally, she marked the moment in true Keke fashion—with a look that blended modern edge with a nostalgic twist.
While she’s known for pulling from the archives, this time Keke went for a new season Balmain sculpting jersey dress. But thanks to the embroidered face motif, it had an undeniable retro energy—very much giving ‘80s power moment, which might explain why she was drawn to it. It’s the kind of look that plays into her love for statement dressing, but with a slick contemporary finish.
There was also a clear theme running through the look: red lips. From the lips on her dress, to the red on her actual lips, and finally those matching Balmain Lips sandals, Keke proved she knows how to keep a look cohesive and fun.
