Sydney Sweeney Wore Vera Wang Haute To The ‘Echo Valley’ New York Premiere
Sydney Sweeney joined Julianne Moore on the red carpet for the Echo Valley New York premiere, and while their styles couldn’t have been more different, it’s Sydney’s look that left me slightly conflicted.

She wore a custom Vera Wang Haute ballgown in crimson red Italian silk faille—so far, so promising—but the execution didn’t quite land. The colour is divine on her, and the bombshell energy is as present as ever, but this needed refinement. The crumb catcher neckline felt unresolved and distracted from what should’ve been a clean, sculpted bodice. The draped peplum? Completely unnecessary. And while I appreciate drama in a skirt, the structure here lacked finesse, distracting from the fantasy.
It’s hard to ignore the fact that this was custom and couture. This should’ve been a moment. Instead, it felt like more focused on elements that prevented that.

That said, Sydney still looked incredible—her beauty, her presence, her ease. She wore Kwiat jewels and carried herself like a star. I just wish the dress had matched her level.
Stylist: Molly Dickson.
