Halle Berry’s Cannes Closing Ceremony Glow Was Dior-Defined Perfection
For the Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony, Halle Berry had one mission: finish strong. And finish she did. In what may have been her best gown of the entire event—a beige Chanel Haute Couture moment oozing pure Halle confidence—she also delivered a beauty look that was soft glam perfection, courtesy of her longtime makeup artist Hung Vanngo and Dior Beauty.

Hung’s focus was fresh, radiant skin with dimension in all the right places. He started with Dior Forever Glow Star Filter in 4 as a glow-enhancing primer, followed by Dior Forever Skin Glow Radiant Foundation in 5N. For targeted brightness and coverage, he layered in Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer in 4N and 5N, then brought shape to her face using Dior Forever Skin Contour Stick in 03 Medium and Forever Cushion Powder in 030 Medium to softly set. Everything was locked in with Dior Forever Perfect Fix Setting Spray, ensuring the glow stayed put through every flashbulb and standing ovation.
Her brows were defined but still natural using Diorshow Brow Styler in 03 Brown and On Set Brow Gel in Universal. The eyes were softly smoked in neutral tones using Diorshow Eyeshadow Palette in 557 Brown Cashmere and Stylo Eyeliner in 781 Matte Brown, with Overvolume Mascara in 090 Overblack adding boldness to the lashes without overpowering the look.
Hung dialled up the warmth on her cheeks with a blend of Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush in Rosewood and Candy, a healthy flush that played beautifully with her skin tone. Dior Forever Nude Bronze in 30 Tan Matte and Glow Luminizer in 02 Gold Halo gave her that quintessential lit-from-within finish.
The nude lip was the final flourish. Hung used Rouge Dior Contour in 303 Greige Attitude to softly shape her lips, finishing with Rouge Dior Velvet in 100 Nude Look—subtle, elegant, and undeniably chic.
This was Dior doing what Dior does best: understated luxury, a glow you can’t fake, and enhancing rather than overpowering. A true beauty highlight to close out Halle’s Cannes run on the highest note.
