Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

While the world was glued to the glamour of Cannes, some rather noteworthy menswear moments were happening away from the Croisette—and I’ve been itching to catch up. From Monaco to LA, these gents didn’t let a little thing like the Cannes Film Festival steal all the style headlines.

Lewis Hamilton was back in the paddock and back in his style bag. After what felt like a streak of mostly Ferrari-issued looks, he returned to form in custom Calvin Klein Collection. This pearl white suit—oversized wool collarless jacket, vest, and pleated trousers—was inspired by Look 2 from the brand’s Fall 2025 collection, and paired with taupe suede boots, the ensemble gave a gentle nod to his Met Gala moment. Known for ultra-baggy silhouettes, this tailored approach felt like a welcome pivot. It’s always a good day when Lewis brings high fashion to the track.

Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner

Colman Domingo can always be trusted to make a style statement, and this AMIRI Fall 2025 look—an embellished striped double-breasted blazer, satin shirt, crystal stripe flare trousers and a leather tie—was a lot. But it worked, because he has that innate sense of theatricality and charisma to carry it off. On anyone else this might’ve veered into costume territory, but on Colman, it’s all part of the charm.

Nicholas Alexander Chavez also dipped into the AMIRI Fall 2025 collection, opting for a brown sparkling pinstripe flared suit. It had a retro-glam energy, and while the lived-in cowboy boots weren’t quite my thing, I appreciate that he stuck to something that feels very “him.”

15-year-old Owen Cooper leaned into the Gen Z fashion handbook with another Louis Vuitton nylon tracksuit top. There’s a laid-back charm in the mix of smart and sporty—it’s cool without trying too hard, and age-appropriate too.

Keanu Reeves wore a Brunello Cucinelli Spring 2025 Prince of Wales check suit with a striped silk tie had a faintly corporate vibe, but he wore it with such ease that it never felt stiff.

Nine Perfect Strangers LA Premiere

Henry Golding fully committed to spring in an off-white Brunello Cucinelli double-breasted suit. It was the perfect choice for the season—even if the burgundy shoes had me wondering if he was already thinking about autumn. Still, it’s Henry, so he gets away with it.
