Jennifer Connelly Wore Louis Vuitton Promoting ‘Dark Matter’

Jennifer Connelly skipping a Louis Vuitton show is like spotting a unicorn in the wild—it just doesn’t happen. So her absence from the front row at the Resort 2026 was a surprise. But it turns out she had a pretty good excuse: she’s busy promoting her new Apple TV+ series Dark Matter with Joel Edgerton.

For the An Evening with Sony Pictures Television FYC event, Jennifer stayed loyal to the Maison, but dialled things down in a look that felt quietly relaxed rather than full fashion moment. Wearing a sleeveless hooded pea coat layered over a crewneck sweater and a pleated wrap skirt, this was very much off-duty Vuitton. The softness of the silhouette and mix of textures worked well—it felt relaxed, confident, and refreshingly understated.

But I can’t lie, the Louis Vuitton cognac Donna knee-high boots weren’t quite working for me. Maybe it’s the colour or the bulkiness, but they slightly weighed down an otherwise effortlessly styled look.
