Cartier Unveils En Équilibre High Jewellery Collection
Cartier brought high jewellery and high drama to Stockholm with the debut of its En Équilibre collection, transforming the Artipelag art space into a glowing celebration of balance, restraint, and refined artistry. And while the event was brimming with glamour, the dress code made one thing very clear: this night belonged to the jewels.

When your necklace is the main character, and the couture is just the supporting act
Even with the drama of a bold red Ashi Studio Fall 2023 Couture strapless dress and wool cape, Deepika Padukone knew her moment belonged to the Cartier necklace. The diamond and sapphire centrepiece was the real showstopper here—everything else, from the silhouette to the cape’s theatrical sweep, simply framed it.

It’s not easy to wear a look this loud and still let a necklace do all the talking, but Deepika managed it with her signature grace.

Black gown, ruby crown
Anna Sawai also understood the assignment—quiet elegance to let the jewels shine. Her Giambattista Valli gown, with its pleated skirt and ruffle-trim sweetheart neckline, was the perfect canvas for her Cartier ruby and diamond necklace. The neckline did exactly what it needed to: draw the eye to the masterpiece.

And…we’re back
Stockholm native Alexander Skarsgård made an appearance, and while we only get a glimpse of his Dolce & Gabbana look from the thigh up, the standout detail—a Panthère de Cartier brooch at the neckline—steals the spotlight. After his theatrical fashion turns at Cannes, this silk-skirt-and-trouser combo feels like a welcome pivot: more polished, less performative.

Oscar worthy
Zoe Saldana gave us quiet glamour with impact in a plunging v-neck black dress that was all about letting that emerald, diamond, and ruby Cartier necklace from the En Équilibre collection take centre stage. Her styling was effortless, her hair slicked back, the dress a subtle frame. It was understated without being forgettable—a testament to how impactful simplicity can be when the jewels are this good.
Everyone brought their A-game to this event, but the true magic was in how each look acted as a pedestal for Cartier’s artistry. No clashing, no overstyling—just perfectly considered fashion that let these extraordinary pieces of jewellery gleam in their own spotlight.
