Regé-Jean Page Wore Brioni To The 2025 Met Gala
There was a noticeable absence of bold colour at the 2025 Met Gala, themed Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. While the tailoring was sharp and the silhouettes strong, much of the red carpet leaned into familiar territory—black, navy, and deep burgundy dominated the night. Was I the only one hoping for more vibrance?

Enter Regé-Jean Page, who delivered a welcome jolt of colour in a custom Brioni ensemble. His vivid red suit stood out instantly, elevated further by a double-breasted overcoat draped effortlessly across his shoulders—a styling choice that added just the right amount of old-school glamour.

Of course, it wasn’t just about the ensemble. The look was meticulously styled, with matching Christian Louboutin Greggo shoes and an ascot tie accented by a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. Fleurage brooch in platinum and 18k yellow gold. The brooch’s over-3-carat rubellite and diamond detailing brought a rich texture to the ensemble, while a vintage Heuer Carrera watch added a touch of understated heritage flair.
Yes, there were a few unfortunate creases, but when a look hits this many high notes—from bold colour to thoughtful accessorising—they’re easy to overlook.
Rings and bracelets from Tiffany & Co. completed the look, striking a perfect balance between classic refinement and modern elegance.
Bold and poetic.
