Celebrities in Harbison Studio at the 2025 Met Gala

Charles Harbison embraced the Superfine: Tailoring Black Style Met Gala, with three high-impact looks. Whether it was classic glamour with a twist or full-blown Met Gala drama, each outfit hit a different note on the dandy dial—all anchored by Harbison Studio’s signature elegance with a bold edge.

Bold In Blue

Simone Biles floated onto the carpet in a custom Harbison Studio Seraphim dress that delivered high drama with a Jacques de Savoie-inspired flair. That dazzling neckline and dramatic train gave the look major theatrical energy, while the blue Aquazzura Yes Darling Plateau sandals and Zales jewellery tied everything together in celestial harmony. Small in stature, but Simone served a look larger than life.

Business in the front, gala in the back

Mindy Kaling’s custom Harbison Studio Libra tux was fully on theme, with the brand’s signature gold accents giving it that tailored-luxe finish. The extended cummerbund sash, which doubled as a train, brought drama without sacrificing the sharpness. Aquazzura’s Olympia Plateau sandals finished the look.

Give her a stage and a cape

Audra McDonald showed us all how to command a room—without saying a word. Her custom Harbison Studio Cirrus gown was already powerful, but it was the opera cape-coat that made it a moment. The idea of a matching hat (seen in the original sketch) had me dreaming of an even more theatrical finish, but Audra didn’t need it. With six Tony Awards to her name, she brings all the presence herself. Regal, refined, and unforgettable. Lauren Harwell Godfrey jewels completed her look.
