Daisy Edgar-Jones Promotes ‘On Swift Horses’ With Four New Looks
Pre-Met Gala red carpet content can feel like waiting for the kettle to boil, so thankfully Daisy Edgar-Jones has been serving us a full-on style tasting menu while promoting her new film On Swift Horses—set to hit US cinemas next week. After a lukewarm reaction to her Gucci outing at SXSW, I wasn’t sure where things were going style-wise, but she delivered four stellar looks that more than made up for it in New York yesterday.

The Today Show Appearance
Wrapped in a Fall 2025 Calvin Klein Collection grey wool skirt suit and leather pumps, Daisy gave us big 1980s energy in the best way. Think Miranda Hobbs from Sex and the City meets a CEO ready to close deals and steal hearts. It’s smart, sleek, and surprisingly commanding.

A modern take on classic tailoring that felt powerful without trying too hard—and who doesn’t love a stealthy fashion curveball?

Look Two: SHUSHU/TONG Girl Era
From power player to Gen-Z heroine. Daisy’s SHUSHU/TONG ensemble—featuring a deconstructed crop top and a double-layered skirt—was a youthful pivot that oozed charm. If the Calvin Klein look was Miranda Priestly, this was Andy Sachs post-Runway glow-up.

Cute but clever, girlish but grown—she’s giving us character development through clothes.

Look Three: Chloé on the Streets of Soho
Let’s be honest: Daisy might be one of the few who can consistently make Chloé feel cool again. Her lingerie-inspired jumpsuit, styled with a powder blue leather coat, was quintessential Chloé—romantic, relaxed, a little undone. I loved the mix of textures and that punchy addition of red Chloé Janis pumps.

And then there’s the Paddington bag—the iconic “It” bag from the Phoebe Philo era. If you know, you know. This was a look rich in nostalgic references, but with a thoroughly modern attitude.

Look Four: Boho Luxe in Saint Laurent
Ending on a high note, Daisy gave us bohemian goddess realness in a Saint Laurent lavallière dress with the same paisley print we saw on Andie MacDowell. But where Andie gave whimsical romance, Daisy leaned into cool-girl boho, layering it under an oversized Saint Laurent trench and adding that chunky gold resin-beaded necklace I’ve been eyeing for months. Moody, textured, and a total departure from her usual fare, this is my favourite look of the four—dramatic in a quietly confident way and ripe for wardrobe inspiration.
Daisy is clearly in her fashion stride right now. I’m genuinely excited to see what she delivers next.
