Sadie Sink Wore Vivienne Westwood To ‘John Proctor Is The Villain’ Broadway Opening Night
Sadie Sink is embracing her inner dark romantic, and I for one am completely here for her current gothic-inspired chapter. Following the opening night of her new Broadway play John Proctor is the Villain at The Booth Theatre in New York City, Sadie made her way to the after-party in a look that was equal parts moody and mesmerising.

The actress wore an archival Vivienne Westwood dress, staying true to the house’s DNA with a corseted bodice and gathered skirt—even if it’s not the immediately recognisable Westwood silhouette we usually see dominating red carpets. It was still undeniably Westwood, but more quietly dramatic, which suits Sadie’s evolving style to a tee.
This isn’t the first time she’s gone goth girl chic recently. We saw the shift begin at the O’Dessa screening in New York last month, and she seems to be leaning all the way into this moodier aesthetic. What elevates the look beyond just “black dress, red carpet” territory is how she styled it: the richness of her red hair, worn loose and perfectly undone, that bold matte red lip, and the addition of a Fred Leighton heart-shaped pendant that subtly echoed the romantic undercurrent of the entire vibe.
And while black might usually fade into the background, that certainly wasn’t the case here—especially not with the vibrant Post-It Note backdrop threatening to steal attention.
With every appearance, it feels like Sadie is moving further away from the sweet, youthful style and stepping into something darker, bolder, and more refined. Gothic glamour might just have a new poster girl.
