Eiza González Wore Gabriela Hearst To The ‘Ash’ SXSW Premiere
Eiza González knows her way around a slinky, satin dress better than most, but for the world premiere of Ash at the 2025 SXSW Conference and Festival, she decided to shake things up. Gone (for now) was the signature sultry slip dress moment, and in its place, a look from Gabriela Hearst’s Spring 2025 collection that leaned into toughness while still keeping a bit of that signature Eiza sex appeal.

The plunging neckline? Still there, because of course. But this time, it was balanced by a sleeveless leather jacket that brought a bit of rockstar energy to the mix. Add in the calf-high boots, and suddenly, this wasn’t just another predictable red carpet moment—it was a fashion statement with a bite.
I have to say, I love this direction for her. The contrast of soft and structured keeps things interesting, and while some might miss her usual old-Hollywood-meets-bombshell aesthetic, this felt fresh. Even the choppy bangs (or fringe, if you prefer) added to the nonchalant coolness of it all.
And then there’s the white crinkle skirt—an unexpected element that softens the edge without taking away the attitude. It’s giving modern-day warrior, but make it effortlessly chic.
