Shira Haas Wore Patou To The ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ LA Premiere
When it comes to fashion, we’ve seen just about everything—including our first completely naked dress. So, at this point, nothing should surprise… right?

I thought so too, until I saw Shira Haas in this Patou Spring 2025 cream strapless dress on the red carpet for the world premiere of Captain America: Brave New World at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
At first glance, you might be thinking, “That’s not the same dress we saw on the runway” Honestly, I had my doubts too. It wasn’t until I saw a video from The Hollywood Reporter—where Shira turned to reveal the back—that I realized it was indeed the same dress. The giveaway? That distinctive tulip-shaped skirt, a silhouette we’ve already seen on Katherine Waterston and Eve Hewson.

Here’s the problem. Shira is far too petite for this dress, and the overwhelming volume of fabric completely swallows her frame. It’s almost as if the gown is wearing her, rather than the other way around.
Adding to the confusion, the original design featured a puffy empire waistline—an element that could have balanced out the proportions and given her a much-needed lift. But for some reason, it was completely ironed out, removing any chance of saving the look.
At the end of the day, some dresses just aren’t meant for everyone. And unfortunately for Shira, this was one of them.
