Jennifer Lopez’s Effortless Bardot-Style Updo at the ‘Wicked’ LA Premiere

When it comes to red carpet glam, Jennifer Lopez never disappoints—especially when she teams up with celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons. For the Wicked LA premiere, Andrew crafted a voluminous Bardot-style updo, using BELLAMI’s best-selling Silk Seam Clip-In Extensions to create that signature JLo drama.

Here’s Andrew’s Get the Look (GTL):

“I created her updo with BELLAMI Silk Seam Clip-In Extensions in Dirty Brunette Highlight (20”).

I started with a bouncy blowout using my Wavytalk Pro Fast-Drying Hairdryer, then sectioned the hair and clipped in extensions in horizontal rows—one row placed backward at the nape for structure, and one row forward to build volume.

Once the extensions were securely in place, I sprayed the hair with Andrew Fitzsimons Après Sexe Texture Spray, gathered it up, and twisted it into an effortless updo, securing it with hairpins for that soft, undone glamour.

To enhance the volume, I added two single clip-in extensions at the front before blending everything seamlessly. To lock in the style, I used my Hard Strong Hold Hairspray for a voluminous, polished finish that lasted all night.”

And just like that, another JLo hair moment was born.
