Maude Apatow’s Vanity Fair Makeup Look by REVOLVE Beauty

Celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan Fisher used REVOLVE Beauty products for Maude Apatow’s makeup look for the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
Below is the step-by-step guide on how to get the look.
To contrast the sweetness of the bow embellishment on Maude’s black dress, we wanted to create an eye with a little edge. A bold, sharp wing to define the eye and a nude lip gave the variation we were looking for.
To prep Maude’s skin I started with the 111Skin Repair Serum NAC Y2.
This cooling serum delivers a surge of moisture to hydrate, replenish, and nourish skin.
Next, I added a couple drops of the 111Skin Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Booster to Augustinus Bader The Cream and massages into the skin.
The 111Skin Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Booster hydrates both the lower layers and the upper surface layer of the skin and combines perfectly with Augustinus Bader The Cream which is one of my favorites because it brightens and evens the skin tone, is lightweight, and preps the skin beautifully for makeup.
To begin makeup, I lightly applied Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Moisture Foundation in shade Cool 002 to the entire face for a flawless, even complexion with a soft sheer finish.
To brighten under the eyes, I then applied the Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Moisture Fit Concealer in Light02.
I lightly set the t-zone and under the eyes with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder in 1. It’s superfine texture blurs any imperfections and mattifies any area with excess shine.
To add some warmth, I swept the Make Beauty Skin Mimetic Microsuede Bronzer in Lunar around the frame of the face and across the cheek bones.
Then I added a pop of color to Maude’s cheeks, using Tower28 Beach Please Luminous Tinted Balm in Office Hours.
Maude has naturally beautiful brows but to perfect, I began by using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe to define the shape and then added a few hair-like strokes with the Lime Crime Bushy Brow Precision Pen in Baby Brown.
To begin the eye, I swept the light warm beige shade from the Viseart Minxette Etendu eyeshadow palette in the crease.
Next, I swept the lightest ivory-peach shade from the same Viseart Minxette Etendu palette across the lid.
I lined Maude’s top waterline using the Stila Stay All Day Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Stingray.
To create Maude’s wing, I used Kevyn Aucoin The Precision Liquid Liner in Black. Its fine felt tip creates the perfect point and its longwear formula lasts all night.
I added the cool light taupe shade from the Viseart Neutral Matte Eyeshadow Palette under the bottom lash line and then gave the lashes a few generous coats of the Pat McGrath Labs Dark Star Mascara in Xtreme Black.
For Maude’s lips, I started by lining the lips with Tower28 OneLiner Multi-Liner in Work of Art and then shaded in the outer corners to create definition. We then chose Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Yes Honey for the perfect nude and applied a light coat. The formula is long-lasting and non-drying so your lips keep their color all night.
Finally, we added Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body to her arms and décolletage for the perfect all over glow.
