Celebrities at the ‘Lola’ LA Premiere

The premiere of ‘Lola’ was held at the Regency Bruin Theatre on Saturday in Los Angeles, California, with Selena Gomez, Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn Beckham, and Melanie Lynskey in attendance.

I know many of you didn’t love Selena Gomez’s Armani Privé Golden Globes look, but I will always prefer the more fun side to her style, as there is always a tendency for her to present a look well beyond her years.

While that isn’t exactly what is going on with this Stella McCartney suit, I think a lot more could have been done in the styling department, as I’m not a fan of the mis-matched styling.

The ivory Valentino Garavani clutch doesn’t complement the white satin bustier or the nude Manolo Blahnik pumps, and the hairstyle is aging her.

Keep the suit, add a cute ponytail, and then start fresh with the top and accessories.

I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that Nicola Peltz is wearing a custom Victoria Beckham Tailoring look, as the length of the trousers are a dead giveaway.

Are we still doing low-rise trousers?  I thought that had phased out as quickly as it was phased in.

Brooklyn Beckham appears to be following in his dad’s footsteps with his love for classic Dior Men’s Collection suits with a contemporary outlook.  Dior Chelsea boots completed his look.

Melanie Lynskey was my favourite on this red carpet wearing a CH Carolina Herrera green crepe drop shoulder top and trouser look which was as relaxed as it was glamorous.

We love easy elegance.
