Angela Bassett Wore Stella Jean To The 'Queens' National Geographic Documentary Series Premiere

Angela Bassett attended the Los Angeles premiere of National Geographic documentary series ‘Queens’ held at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Thursday.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel that Angela needed to be this literal by wearing this National Geographic, Jungle print Stella Jean Fall 2023 check coat.

While I do love a theme, this look was a little too in your face and way overcooked for me.

If Angela wanted to make the coat the focus, she should have done just that, and not opted for a tie-dye print dress as well.

So, what’s the verdict?

The coat and the dress: Creating her own unique bold fashion statement which was on theme.
Without the coat: Appreciating the beauty of the tie-dye print which was statement enough.
Making the coat the hero piece: Styling the coat with a simple black dress.
