Selena Gomez Wore Valentino, Rahul Mishra Couture & Monse For The Inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit

Selena Gomez Wore Valentino For The Inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit

Selena Gomez hosted her first annual ‘Rare Impact Fund Benefit: A Night of Radiance & Reflection’ on Wednesday (October 4) in Los Angeles.

The benefit will support The Rare Impact Fund’s mission to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and expand access to mental health services and education for young people around the world.

As the hostess, Selena served up three looks on the night which had three completely different energies.

The first was this custom Valentino embellished halter gown.

Some might feel this was a bit mature for Selena, but in terms of being the hostess opening the event and setting the tone for the evening, I love how she started off this event making a statement.

Her silver gown was styled with a stunning pair of Messika Kandake High Jewelry earrings, paired with the labels Magnetic Love and Glam’Azone rings.

I highly believe that this second custom look from Rahul Mishra is likely to be the favourite because, if you’re like me, you love to see Selena in more playful looks.

Some might see this Rahul Mishra Fall 2023 Couture purple hand embroidered petal bustier cocktail dress as a stunning piece of work from the designer, others may say she looks like she is wearing the leaves of a red cabbage, or you may prefer the original look on the runway.

For so long we were perplexed as to why she was being dressed as a mature woman 30 years her senior, so for me, this is a big win for Selena.

Inside the venue, Selena wore her third look of the night, which was a jungle print velvet mini dress from the Monse Fall 2023 collection.

I love the wintery mood, but this dress – from a design point of view – didn’t need the MONSE type in blue.
