Jodie Turner-Smith Wore Balmain To The Clooney Foundation for Justice’s ‘The Albies’ 

Wait?  What?

I had to double take on Jodie Turner-Smith as she made her way down the red carpet for the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s The Albies held at the New York Public Library on Thursday (September 28).

I almost want to say she was unrecognisable, but that would be an exaggeration, so I will say that the British actress opting not to wear any jewelry – not even her signature nose ring – was uncharacteristic.

I know many of you are punching the air with joy as your prayers have been answered.

But what I love about seeing her in this off-the-shoulder look from the Balmain Fall 2023 collection is that there are no distractions.

OTT jewelry is her signature, and I love Jodie’s commitment to her red carpet looks, but a jewel-free, sunglasses-less, Jodie Turner-Smith look was refreshing.

Had those trousers been tailored, this would’ve been perfect.
