Yara Shahidi Wore anOnlyChild To The ENVSN Festival 

Among her generation, Yara Shahidi is known as an activist, so I wasn’t surprised to see her supporting the annual ENVSN Festival hosted by Black In Fashion Council in New York this Saturday (August 26).

ENVSN was born with the goal to serve and foster the talent, dreams, and sustainability of youth culture in an inclusive environment that promotes collaboration, discovery, and conversation.

anOnlyChild is a label that embodies empowering individuals to embrace their best selves—pure, plush, and unapologetic, so the synergy with this event and Yara couldn’t be more perfect.

Some might feel that the anOnlyChild puff sleeve blazer is overwhelming for Yara, but I couldn’t disagree more.

This is the side of Yara’s style which I am most drawn to.  Complex, unexpected, and marching to the beat of her own drum.

That feeling might have been challenged had she opted to wear the matching trousers, but making the top part of this look her own, is what makes Yara forever “that girl.”

Plus.  It feels like we are transitioning into autumn here in London, so I’m ready for this rich chocolate hue.
