Aya Nakamura Wore Mugler For The Voice 2023 Finale
Last weekend in Paris, Aya Nakamura performed during the finale of The Voice 2023 where she performed her song, ‘Baby.’
The singer wore a Mugler by Casey Cadwallader black and beige printed sheer dress from the Fall 2021 collection.
While this star print is not new to us (as seen on Normani and Lori Harvey) it hasn’t lost its allure for me.
The mind-bending star print is a gentle nod to the maison’s reputation for the otherworldly, while the semi-sheer finish and plunging open back speaks to the designer’s penchant for old-fashioned sensuality.
I love that Casey Cadwallader continues to harness the label’s storied past more effectively than most designers at legacy labels.
We’ve seen this most recently with Beyonce’s Renaissance tour wardrobe.
