Zendaya Wore Atelier Versace & Prada To The 2023 NAACP Image Awards

Zendaya made her first red carpet appearance of the year at the 2023 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (February 25) in California.

This is the point where usually I would say that “she didn’t disappoint,” and she didn’t, but by the same token this wasn’t my favourite look from this red carpet.

Essentially I’m missing that “OMG” feeling when seeing a Zendaya look.

We love it when Zendaya dips into the archives and unearths a gem we haven’t seen before on the red carpet, but I can’t say that I’m head-over-heels in love this strapless Atelier Versace Spring 2002 gown.

I think the lime green details located around the hips are throwing me off.

I know this will be a hugely unpopular opinion, but this was didn’t give me the goosebumps I was hoping for when Zendaya returned to the red carpet.

Bulgari jewels completed her look.

Zendaya’s second look of the night was a custom Prada ensemble inspired by the Spring 1993 collection, which she wore to present the Outstanding Motion Picture award to Ryan Coogler for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’

The two-piece consisted of a white bralette and floor-length skirt cut into a star pattern, which she styled with matching white heels.

I do like the ode to the ’90 supermodels that is emanating from this look.
