Penelope Cruz Wore Dolce & Gabbana To The 2023 Goya Awards

We’ve been crying out for something new for Penelope Cruz for some time, and she delivered just that for the 2023 Goya Awards on Saturday (February 11) in Seville, Spain.

By something new, I’m referring to the designer.  Because instead of wearing Chanel, the actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana bustier gown detailed with a ruffled pleated taffeta skirt.

Between the bustier and the off-the-shoulder black lace shawl this couldn’t be a more perfect typification of a Dolce & Gabbana look.

However, I have a feeling that opting not to wear Chanel wasn’t the only change you needed.

Because despite the change of the designer, there might be a sense of familiarity as Penelope gravitates to black gowns often.

I’m glad that the look didn’t age her, and I’m glad there’s no tweed, so I’m personally happy with this look.
