2023 Golden Globe Awards Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

There were a lot of great red carpet menswear looks from the 2023 Golden Globes Awards, where Eddie Redmayne, Donald Glover and Jeremy Pope have already been featured.

Here is the roundup from the red carpet, starting with Austin Butler who is sticking with the classic wide lapel tuxedo, having already worn one to the Palm Spring Film Festival Awards.

What’s the difference?

On this occasion he wore a Gucci suit with a bow-tie styled with Cartier jewels. 

I think I would have liked Adam Scott’s Paul Smith look without the cummerbund. 

The photographer only managed to capture Brad Pitt from the waist up, yet I’m still drooling over how good he looks wearing this Tom Ford O’Connor tuxedo styled with David Yurman jewels.

Is it me, or is he looking even better than he did last year?

Barry Keoghan made a bold statement wearing a custom Louis Vuitton pale blue suit that was notable for its modern silhouette, knotted collar shirt detail and cropped jacket.

He styled his look with monogrammed Louis Vuitton shoes and an OMEGA timepiece. 

Copy and paste everything I said about Brad Pitt, yet Colin Farrell wore a Dior Men’s collection black wool and silk tuxedo and black silk bow tie.

Who knew that this caramel colour would be trending on the red carpet at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards?

Damien Chazelle wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana three-piece single-breasted Martini fit tuxedo which has me wondering if a satin bow tie in a darker shade of caramel would’ve been better than black?

I almost didn’t recognise Danny Ramirez with this short haircut.

The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ star was known to present more contemporary looks during his promo tour, but for this occasion he went classic wearing a Saint Laurent peaked lapel tuxedo styled with an OMEGA timepiece and Saint Laurent Beau boots.

Diego Calva was looking as handsome as ever wearing a custom Gucci three-piece green suit styled with an OMEGA timepiece and a his statement-making pink floral brooch which we saw him wear to the ‘Babylon’ LA premiere.

Evan Peters wore a Dior Men’s collection black velvet and silk shawl collar tuxedo which was simple, yet very elegant. 

Dolce & Gabbana totally dominated this red carpet as they dressed over 10 celebrities.

Gabriel LaBelle wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana dove grey three-piece single-breasted Sicillia fit styled with Christian Louboutin Greggo shoes.

Henry Golding was impossibly handsome in Armani.

Glen Powell’s Brioni suit might have the longest shawl lapels I have ever seen.

David Yurman jewels and an OMEGA timepiece completed his look. 

Jay Ellis was smizing on the red carpet wearing a Louis Vuitton velvet suit styled with Cartier jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes. 

Lewis Pullman’s promo tour for ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ had a slight western feel to it.

That wasn’t so evident with this Saint Laurent tuxedo, but some would point to his Saint Laurent Vassili boots and say that they are a little bit country.

An OMEGA timepiece completed his look. 

Percy Hynes White proves that a cape is always a great choice.

The ‘Wednesday’ actor wore a Saint Laurent look which was giving polished rocker vibes.

I thought flares might have been a menswear trend confined to 2022, but Percy brought them into the new year styling them with Saint Laurent Beau boots.

Seth Rogen proved just how sleek a cummerbund looks when matching his Dior Men’s collection coral suit.

Adam Scott needs to take notes, as does Damien Chazelle when it comes to the matching bow-tie.

Tarzan Davis joined the mini ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ reunion.

The actor wore one black suit for the entire promo tour, and that was for the royal premiere in London.

So, I was surprised, but not disappointed to see just how suave he looked wearing this Berluti black satin and mohair shawl collar tuxedo, styled with an OMEGA timepiece.

Those Top Gun fellas really love their OMEGA watches. 

‘Abbott Elementary’ actor Tyler James Williams wore a Matador-style Amiri Spring 2023 jacket and matching trousers, which was the most unique tailored look of the night.

I’m sure this look will find itself on many Best Dressed Lists.

A Cartier lapel pin and Saint Laurent oxfords showcase that standout style doesn’t need to be loud.
