Euphoria FYC Event

Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, and Zendaya attended the Euphoria FYC event held at the Paramount Theatre on Sunday (December 18) in Los Angeles, California.

When I first saw this event, I thought it was a throwback picture.  I think this is mostly because of Zendaya’s new hairstyle. 

Maude Apatow is always one to stand out, and this occasion was no different wearing a one-shoulder, cut-out floral draped devoré Rodarte Spring 2023 dress.

Those leather boots wouldn’t have been my first choice for this dress, but considering her co-stars footwear, and how we’ve come to learn just how much Gen-Z loves a chunky boot, we shouldn’t be surprised.

Is there a brand better suited to Hunter Schafer than Rick Owens?  If you think there is please comment below.

The actress wore an umber-orange Rick Owens Iris one-shoulder top with a Rick Owens Vered wrap skirt which both boast a high-shine finish and asymmetrical draped silhouette.

Considering Rick Owens is renowned for his grunge aesthetic, the boots make perfect sense here.

Sydney Sweeney’s Thom Browne striped socks added to the overall charm to her school girl inspired look.

Was this two twee for the actress?

Especially considering the LaQuan Smith dress she wore to the 2022 GQ Men Of The Year Awards.

And then we come to Zendaya who looked absolutely beautiful serving up uptown elegance wearing a Schiaparelli Fall 2021 look featuring a black short sleeve top with a padlock accented pencil wrap skirt.

Opting to buck the heavy platform boot trend, the actress, who doesn’t follow the herd, opted to wear a sleek pair of Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps.

Even if I was to put my bias aside, Zendaya is by far my favourite here, and I adore the new haircut.  It gives her a new fresh outlook.
