Michelle Williams Wore Celine To ‘The Fabelmans’ AFI Fest Premiere

Michelle Williams attended the 2022 AFI Fest closing night gala premiere of ‘The Fabelmans’ held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday (November 6) in Hollywood, California.

The last time we saw the actress on the red carpet was on September 10 for the Toronto Film Festival premiere, where she was heavily pregnant.

Exactly two months later, after welcoming her baby with husband Thomas Kail, Michelle was back to work promoting this film wearing a black satin Celine by Hedi Slimane strapless draped dress with a smocking bow.

I adore the silhouette, the new glossy hairstyle and how Michelle styled this look with the Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® hands necklace.

But I did find myself somewhat bothered by how the satin material fared between the bust and the hips.

It’s not a crease issue.  It looks like there might have been too much material which is why it doesn’t lay flush.

Aside from that small issue, this was a wonderful return to the red carpet for the actress.
