Elizabeth Banks Wore Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini On The View
Elizabeth Banks made a guest appearance on ‘The View’ on Tuesday (October 25) in New York City, where she was promoting her new film, ‘Call Jane.’
As you know I have always had a soft spot for Elizabeth Banks’ style, but I’m crazy about this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Fall 2022 look which featured a logo-print cotton T-shirt, double-breasted striped blazer and rhinestone chain midi skirt.
I understand the rhinestone skirt elevates the overall look, but it also resulted in this look feeling overly dressy for a morning show. I couldn’t imagine sitting in a skirt like this for any period of time.
I also had to eye roll the leather gloves which look kinda ridiculous here. Unfortunately they pushed this look firmly into “try-hard” territory.Â
She did remove them for her TV appearance you’ll be glad to hear.
Elizabeth has been away from the red carpet for a while, so maybe she is trying to find her groove again, but I don’t think trying everything that is trending: leather gloves, oversized blazer, Prada-esqe layering, is the way forward for her.
