Louis Vuitton x British Vogue Dinner
Fashion month might be over, but the fashion parties are still in full flow.
Nicolas Ghesquière and Edward Enninful hosted the Louis Vuitton x British Vogue intimate dinner at the Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Apartment in London on Thursday (October 6).
Alana, Danielle and Este Haim of Haim were much improved when it comes to their looks when compared to what they wore in the front row of the Spring 2023 show, but I know many of you won’t agree.
At these events I always ask myself, “is she girl an LV girl?”
I would’ve said no when it comes to Alexa Chung, but she surprised me in this Louis Vuitton Fall 2022 look.
The key was to keep things simple, and add statement accessories.
Charithra Chandran’s Louis Vuitton Fall 2022 look instantly gave me déjà vu.
That’s because Jennifer Connelly wore this same look back in May during the Mexico City leg of her promo tour for ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’
Cynthia Erivo’s Louis Vuitton Resort 2023 look kinda feels thrown together, but I think that is the look she was going for.
Elle Richards might just be the first person to sell those Louis Vuitton wedged boots to me. I think the key, like with Alexa, was keeping things simple.

I’m surprised that Naomi Campbell would select something so tame and ordinary from Louis Vuitton. But it has been a long fashion month for the model who walked several shows this season.
I’m delighted to see that Phoebe Dynevor is getting a better Louis Vuitton edit. Her last two looks have seen her really lean into the edgy nature of the pieces.
I guess she just needed time to find her groove with the brand.
Renate Reinsve solidified herself as one of my favourite Louis Vuitton girls since the 2022 BAFTAs, and this Louis Vuitton Resort 2023 look – accessories aside – was no different.
I love her new copper hair colour.
Thuso Mbedu, who is in town promoting ‘The Woman King,’ might just be my favourite of this group alongside Gemma Chan.
It’s the oversized pieces that don’t overwhelm her petite frame, along with the attitude and the easy elegance of the Louis Vuitton Fall 2022 pieces.
Also, I’m glad she didn’t follow the warrior princess crowd, as I’m sure many of you are over those criss-cross crop tops by now.
