Thuso Mbedu Wore House of Sass To ‘The Woman King’ South Africa Premiere

On Wednesday (September 28), Thuso Mbedu attended ‘The Woman King’ South Africa premiere, following a visit to some schools in Johannesburg. 

Some of you were underwhelmed by the actress’ Balmain dress for the Toronto Film Festival premiere, but I’m sure there will be no complaints about this gown from House of Sass.

I love that Thuso supported a local designer, and how she embodied the spirit of the film and African culture quite literally from head-to-toe.

African prints gave way to this creative woven mat design with just about every colour of the rainbow represented here.

From the high-low hemline, detailed bodice, and decorative necklace, and the Nefertiti-inspired hair, I’m floored.

The creativity, and attention to detail is truly breath-taking.

One for Thuso’s Hall of Fame.
